ProtestFest 2oo5 v Brně

Od 29. dubna do 5. května 2005 se v Brně bude konat ProtestFest 2005 s podtitulem Proti válce a zbrojení. Tento týden protestních aktivit je odpovědí na zbrojařský veletrh IDET, který se bude v tom čase odehrávat v areálu brněnského výstaviště. Festival představuje propojení aktivit protestního hnutí a alternativní kultury. Cílem je vyjádřit názor na válku a zbrojení a jejich důsledky, na pofiderní obchody zbrojařských firem, na systém, který tyto obchody umožňuje a státní představitele, kteří je oficiálně zaštiťují.

ProtestFest 2005 se tematicky zaměřuje na problém války a zbrojení. Nechceme nikomu vnucovat jeden názor - představujeme řadu postojů k této problematice: od toho, že někteří z nás považují zbraně principiálně za špatné a obchod s nimi za špinavý až po názor, že obchod se zbraněmi je jenom jedním projevem systému, který je založen na obchodě se vším, co lze zpeněžit. Naše kritika války a zbrojení neprezentuje jednotnou frontu jednoho názoru. Naopak: snažíme se o prezentaci co nejširšího pojetí této kritiky. V době, kdy vám oficiální proklamace o tom, jak je tato společnost demokratická, nedávají prostor ani k tomu, abyste se mohli pokusit samostatně myslet, nabízíme širokou paletu alternativních názorů, ze kterých si můžete vybrat ten, který je vám nejbližší. A neklademe ani překážky tomu, abyste vyjádřili svoji alternativu. Trváme na tom, že vytváříme prostor pro mnoho názorů, kterým se jinak nedopřává slyšení. Proto se taky vymezujeme vůči tomu, aby se na naší akci prezentovaly různé politické strany - ty si zvolily jiné prostředky k vyjadřování, tak ať se jich drží. Zároveň se ostře vymezujeme vůči autoritářským ideologiím - hlásné trouby nejrůznějších typů diktatur svou demagogií přeřvávají všechny pokusy o svobodné vyjádření. Vytváříme prostor pro svobodu, tvořivost, různorodost názorů. Nevytváříme ho proto, aby si na něm politické strany pověsily svou reklamu nebo aby si tento prostor někdo okamžitě přivlastnil.

V rámci ProtestFestu jsme zatím připravili několik akcií, na které vás srdečně zveme:

29.4. - Zbrojařský hypermarket - informační happening na náměstí Svobody.

29.4. - 1.5. - Čarodky: soundsystémy v parku na Střeláku.

30.4. - Streetfest proti válce

Start 12:00 (17:30 průvod) na Moravském náměstí a karnevalový pochod s alegorickými vozy městem. Festival s volným vstupem v centru města, na kterém kromě muziky uvidíte, uslyšíte a potkáte různé performance, infostánky, grafitti, divadla, lidé s různými názory, veganské občerstvení, dětský koutek atp. Pochod zakončí afterparty na Střeláku (HC/punk).

Feher Fekete Kerek (ska*ragga) - Vertigo (ska) - Swazaarm (hip-hop) - Jolly Joker & the Plastic Beatles of the Universe (hardcore*hip-hop)

Vosa sound - Redrum/booyone - Jahly sound - Otaku - Kalinga sound

2.5. - Umělecká performance a happening na Moravském náměstí.

3.5. - Informační stánek v centru Brna k problematice války a zbrojení.

4.5. - Děti proti válce - happening.

5.5. - Jídlo místo zbraní - akce k 25.výročí Food Not Bombs, rozdávání jídla zdarma, divadlo.

5.5. večer - Minifestival - HC, punk, hip-hop... na Favále: zakončení ProtestFestu 2005

Během týdne Protestfestu budou kromě toho probíhat různé výstavy, přednášky, besedy atd.

Program bude nadále doplňován ... Vy se přitom nemusíte spokojit s rolí pasivního návštěvníka/návštěvnice:: můžete udělat infostánek, připravit si happening, přijít s distrem, kapelou, divadelním vystoupením... - v tom případě je ale vhodné, kvůli časové a technické koordinaci napsat na info@protestfest.cz. Zároveň doporučujeme vzít si sebou píšťalky, karnevalové masky, transparenty... meze vaší nápaditosti se nekladou.
